Bob and Beverly Donley sponsored our first Dawn Patrol for 2007 at Galesburg Airport which is a very busy place.  The day was beautiful and Beverly fixed a great breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, coffee, juice, fruit and lots more. And nobody went away hungry.  Bob helped out but I give credit to the real master.  Everything was just great.  The wind picked up but  it didn’t cause any problems, even flying home. 

Wes Bolds showed up first with Gerry Downes, Bob Donley and Dave Lillie both hanger there. Next came Don Berridge in his Kit-Fox.

Bud Westbay arrived and asked me if he could have another Dawn Patrol at his place.  What could I say, it was one of the best we had last year.  Even overnight camping with campfires and sleeping bags.
