Dave Keller has a new nosecone for the Challenger II  Contact Dennis Dyer.

Ted Wink has large heel cups for sale.  They are $60.00 per pair.   I
have them on my trainer ( see the picture)  and students really like
them.  They let you move your feet around a little or you can just let
your feet rest on a long cross country flight. (All you flight
instructors out there, have you ever had a students feet slip out of the
rudders?)    They are cut out on a CNC machine and welded together. I
could not build cups like these here at my shop, so I bought a set from
the "Winkster"   Once you fly with these heel cups you will be glad you
installed them. Plus, they will give you sure footing in the winter with
warm boots on....( hey Canada! ).   Just give Ted Wink your order on his
e mail at tedandmarilu@yahoo.com  and he will get a set mailed out to you.
Checks or cash only.

Jim, at an Eerie place.

WHAT'S A “Flip-Flap”?
.
You’re on final and a little high. You know you can keep the nose up a bit, check your airspeed and apply flaps as you nose down to increase you descent angle. This will bring you right to the numbers at the proper airspeed to a perfect landing. You KNOW this!
.

Instead, you throttle back to idle, push the nose down and dive to the numbers. You flare just past the threshold and now you float down the runway bleeding off speed while your buddies wonder whether you’re landing or doing a low pass!
.

WE ALL DO IT…. OFTEN! Why? Because our airplanes have manual flap controls and, at best, they are just not user friendly. We avoid using them!
.
Manual flap controls distract the pilot when his attention is most needed. Often it takes muscle to operate them, and let’s not forget how we roller-coaster as we transition into flap extension. Ask your passenger!
.

Servo operated flap control, allows the pilot to quickly and effortlessly set the desired flap position without distraction. Just a quick touch of the control is all that’s needed. The servo actuator then follows in a gradual, smooth manner that allows the pilot time to compensate with elevator. Your flight path is smooth, airspeed is easily maintained, and your flying is suddenly BETTER!
.
How does BETTER FLYING equate with SAFER FLYING in your mind?
